Great Skipper - Great Boat

Skipper and boat owner Patrick Davis has been a keen fisherman most of his life and has always had an interest in Boating (he owned his first boat at the tender age of 14!). Combining these two passions, Patrick has become a very successful Skipper in these waters and is proud to offer his services to the public.
	Definitely 'one of lifes characters', Patrick is one of those people who enjoys a good laugh. Trips with Patrick are definitely memorable, although rumours that Pirates Of The Carribean's “Captain Jack Sparrow” was modelled on Patrick are totally untrue (Patrick's hair was never that long).
Patrick knows the waters well. He will take you to prime fishing spots and will work hard to help you catch (whether it be a trip out with the family or a deep sea shark fishing expedition).
	Patrick has a Commercially Endorsed Advanced Powerboating Skippers License as well as having Certificates in Level 1 & 2 Powerboating, Safety Boat and Advanced Powerboating Certificates. Patrick is also a qualified Instructor for the RYA (qualified to teach Level 1&2 Costal for your RYA Certificates).

Patrick operates out of Looe Harbour, a beautiful Cornish Town which is a fabulous place to holiday or just a great day/evening out. There is much to see on this part of the Cornish Coastline, Looe Island, Port Nadler, Talland Bay and possibly the most quaint fishing village in Cornwall, Polperro.

Not 'just a Skipper', Patrick is also the owner of a well known 33 foot Aquastar “Carrie-Jane” which is licensed to carry 12 Passengers.

 “Carrie-Jane” is a 33foot Aquastar. She has been designed and fitted out with the safety and comfort of her crew and passengers in mind, offering a good sized wheelhouse with seating and a large open deck.

“Carrie-Jane” is powered by a Volvo Penta TamD63 producing 320hp, with a top speed of 19 knots, which means we can get to best fishing spots quickly!

She has an impressive range of equipment, including:

• 2 VHF Radios

• 3 independent GPS systems

• 10" colour plotter

• 48 mile radar

• Colour echo sounders

• Microwave Oven

• Gas cooker (with the all important kettle)

• Flushing toilet

Carrie-Jane can be hired/chartered for all types of fishing (deep sea reef/shark/wrecking etc). Fishing trips are available for individuals, couples, small groups (ie priced per person) or alternatively by Private Charter for larger groups.
